Phlebectomy
Sincethe vascular structure is extremely deformed in chronic varicose veins, varicose veins can reach very large diameters or even tombosis from time totime. It is not possible to completely clean these structures with miniincisions. In chronic period varices with very large diameters, sometimesvaricose veins should be removed from the half-cm incisions. Pake excision isoften performed in addition to surgical variceal treatment or radiofrequencyablation (RF) procedure. After the removal of the pake, the incision is closedaesthetically with internal sutures and is again zoomed with the strips. Thestrips can be removed after 3 to 5 days.
